5″ TYPE 3 FLEXIBLE HOSE FLOATATION COLLARS
The flotation collar has been specifically designed to improve not only the visibility and buoyancy of the unit but also the method of fixing and fixing the collar to the flexible hose. The use of round and floating material, instead of square, guarantees a perfect and better contact with the surface of the hose.
Increased visibility
To improve the visibility of the collar, two fluorescent stripes have been sewn on the outer surface of the “Dayglow Orange” material. Ideal for night operations or restricted light, especially in adverse weather conditions.
Secure fixation …
To secure the float collar to the flexible hose, there are several methods available.
♦ Two complete internal straps are sewn with adjustable plastic buckles on the inner surface of the collar.
♦ Another set of straps and buckles are sewn to the outer material, again with adjustable plastic buckles. These completely encapsulate the internal buckles and resist any movement of the collar along with the hose.
♦ The pockets on both ends of the collar, with laces, ensure that there will be no movement once the collar has been placed.
